Nupur Dance School is an exciting dance school based on the Indian Classical form of Bharatanatyam. It was founded with a unique vision to create Indian cultural awareness among Indian American youth.
Our primary goal is to preserve the art of Bharatanatyam through a commitment to technical excellence. We take pride in inspiring our students to develop their God-given talents. We are committed to the well-being of our students and give personal attention to each student’s needs. We strive to develop not only good dancers, but well-rounded individuals who apply their learned skill sets to succeed in life.
Director Mrs. Rupa creates works that fall within the traditional Bharatanatyam idiom, as well as works that explore non-traditional movement, music, and stories. The company is dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional forms and our contemporary world.
Under Mrs. Rupa’s tutelage each student develops a life long work ethic that emphasizes a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of their lives.Classes are fun and challenging, ensuring a great environment for our students to thrive.
